What´s This All About?

The main idea of our project is to make participants value their rich natural and cultural heritage, by seeing not only as part of a culture but as a source of employment and wealth. It is important to make students aware of the huge potential heritage contains, and provide additional knowledge about experiences that are successfully working in different places of Europe.
La idea central de nuestro proyecto es contribuir a que los participantes valoren su propio patrimonio cultural y natural, también como posible fuente de empleo y riqueza.


All the participants will do a research about each area´s traditions. There will be one common thematic block that all the partners will approach, related to traditional cuisine and local produce: what was seasonally harvested, elaboration of food and drink, recipes, special dates and food to celebrate them… In addition, each country will focus on specific points related to the possibilities of each area to make students discover economical perspectives of heritage: beekeeping, traditional crafts, experiential sustainable tourism, perspectives of commercializing quality local produces, traditional sports ...

Todos los participantes investigarán acerca de sus tradiciones, en concreto, acerca de las relacionadas con la recolección y elaboración de alimentos y bebidas y las celebraciones asociadas a todo ello. Además, cada país abordará otros temas de investigación específicos.
